This is an informal gathering of Tai Chi enthusiasts that is free and open to the public. Come join us near the West end of Mattson Park below the Fireman’s bell. (Watch for the sign under the elm trees just inside the Park’s sidewalk.)

LOCATION
During the Summer, both weekly Tai Chi classes and monthly Tai Chi workshops take place near the West end of Mattson Park (Lower Harbor) Marquette, Michigan.

Jon and Diana Magnuson continue as the Institute’s instructors. Rick Pietila, disciple of Chen Zhonghua, serves as a long-distance consultant and mentor. Numerous guest presenters over past years have included Elaine Waters; Jeannie Wagner, physical therapist; physicians Hillary Metcalf, Fred Maynard, and Dick Bohjanen; Sharon Bohjanen, psychologist; Larry Wall, mental health counselor; Phil Watts, NMU sports medicine instructor, and Roberta Noss, reflexologist.
