A Project Completed
1000 Trees Planted in Six Weeks
Lead by a commitment from the Marquette Choral Society, The Cedar Tree Institute coordinated 37 volunteers from all walks of life and planted the 1,000th Northern white cedar tree along the banks of the Yellow Dog River on June 3rd, 2023.
Special thanks to the Tonya Aker-Richards and Jeff Noble, the good folks from Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve, and Jordan Mattarella who provided key strategic support and guidance.
